You can support the department, program or Center of your choice. All depend on your support for a variety of initiatives, including research, scholarly speaker series, outreach programming and scholar-in-residence programs, conferences, and workshops. Funds in support of these areas can also be used for student travel to conferences, field research, and seed funding costs for major initiatives.
World-class facilities, state-of-the-art laboratories and galleries, innovative classrooms, and modern, open study spaces are all critical for outstanding teaching, research, and recruitment of top faculty and students. From new lab facilities in the sciences to new and improved theatre and studio space in the arts, it is critical for the College to provide the best possible technologies for education and research. This not only includes new that allow for the pursuit of knowledge, but also to equip historical buildings for new ways of teaching and learning.
Gifts to the College’s annual fund allow the Dean to respond quickly to needs as they arise. Unrestricted funds can mean the difference between a missed opportunity and a breakthrough discovery, and provide opportunities for enhanced student learning. By making an unrestricted gift, you enable the College to take full advantage of opportunities across the campus and the classrooms. These opportunities include guest speakers and lecturers, student and/or faculty travel for educational conferences, (something else), and other projects as needed.
