The College of Arts & Sciences has a social media presence on five platforms: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube. Each platform serves a specific audience thus our content on each page is tailored to that audience. The majority of social media content shared comes from College news stories (see news & feature stories), covering events and other ongoings at the College (see event promotion) and submissions (example: three students won an award at a data science hack-a-thon at another school and this information was sent to us so we can share it.)
Our goal on social media is to strategically represent the College’s reputational excellence (rankings, awards, grants, publishing, scholarships, etc.) and strong campus belonging (student life). Achieving this is not possible if we aren’t looped in. Please submit news updates for social media consideration at any time. Posting is subject to availability.
For all questions about social media, like wanting to start a new page for a department, or something to be posted, please email Nicole Curtin. (nrc101@miami.edu)
