Lecture and reception, Friday, November 9, 7-9 pm. As part of the biannual Myrna and Sheldon Palley Glass Artist Lecture Series, distinguished artist Hank Adams will discuss balancing the solitary and the communal in his evolving creative practice. Among the works Adams will discuss is Spool (2001), currently on view in the Museum’s Palley Pavilion. The evening will conclude with a reception with the artist, when guests may also enjoy his other works on view at the Lowe, both in the Pavilion (Val, 1989) and in ArtLab @ the Lowe 2018 exhibition, The Tender Force of Glass (the Ocupado series, n.d.).
