The department offers six courses in theatre management and producing that will give the graduate of the program the skills and experience necessary to succeed in this exciting and rewarding area of theatre. There is intensive study of Broadway and Regional Theatre along with specialized instruction in fundraising, grant writing, marketing, organizational structure and personnel and facility management. There are other theatre courses that the major is required to take in order to ensure success in this field: stagecraft, directing, script analysis, and theatre history.

The department also works closely with our majors to pick appropriate electives from the School of Business and School of Communication to enrich and enhance the studies undertaken in the theatre department.
