Dean's Summer MFA Fellowship
This fellowship provides funding for master of fine arts students to pursue creative thesis projects during the Summer 2012. Funds may be used as salary support or to cover direct costs for scholarly and creative activities. Expenditures must be incurred during the period May 15 to August 15, 2012. The number of awards will depend on available funding, but a minimum of two awards is anticipated.
Award: $5,000
Application Deadline: January 23, 2012
Notification Date: Late February 2012
Please submit the following materials with your application form:
- Project Description (limited to 1500 words)
- List of publications, presentations, shows, exhibitions or other scholarly and creative work (please do not include any work in preparation)
- Unofficial Student Transcript (printed from myUM by student)
- Supporting letter from research advisor (to be emailed from advisor directly to Ms. Angie Callesis)
- Endorsement letter from Director of Graduate Studies (to be emailed from DGS directly to Ms. Angie Callesis)
