"Beyond the Book" Scholarship
With the support of two generous gifts, the College of Arts and Sciences has established the “Beyond the Book” scholarship program, designed to enable Arts and Sciences undergraduate students to pursue special intensive learning beyond the traditional classroom experience. Opportunities include, but are not limited to, lab research, archaeological field schools, and archival work.
This program was initiated in summer 2007. Each "Beyond the Book" scholarship recipient is awarded a $2,500 stipend. Some of the students’ previous proposals are posted below.
