A&S professors promoted and new Cooper Fellows appointed

The College of Arts & Sciences promoted 19 faculty members, including awards of tenure to six professors during a recent recognition reception. New Cooper Fellows also were appointed: Thomas Curtright, physics, Alexandra Quittner, psychology, V. Ramamurthy, chemistry, and Guido Ruggiero, history. The Fellowships are annual awards to support research and teaching. The appointed Fellows share their research with the University community through lectures and other events.
