Academic Experience at UM

  • Studying at UM has been a great experience—personally enriching and intellectually stimulating.  It has been an opportunity to learn from outstanding professors who are available and willing to guide you in order to meet your academic research interests and needs. In this program, I have had the chance to meet people from different parts of the world, which is a marvelous opportunity to learn about different cultures and to understand how, despite geographic differences and traditions, we have so much in common. The program is very personalized and demanding: being a small program allows it to be very personalized, which exerts a positive impact the learning process; being demanding pushes you to do your best, with gratifying results.  Professors and staff are eager to help, and the environment and facilities stimulate and support the process of learning and conducting research. Once you are here, it is impossible not to feel you are a CANE!
