We are now accepting entries for the Isaac Bashevis Prize in Fiction, the Laurence Donovan Prize in Poetry, and the Cover Art Contest. The winner for each genre will be published in Mangrove and receive a $100 prize. All entires will be considered for publication.

         Contest submissions must be sent to l.starling@umiami.edu by December 10, 2011. All submissions must include name, phone number, address, and email as well as year and major. Poetry, fiction, and nonfiction submissions must be attached as a Microsoft Word Document which includes the title of the works but no identifying information. The contest will accept up to five poems and up to two pieces of prose or up to three pieces of art. Prose submissions must be no longer than 10 pages (Times New Roman, 12-pt. font). Poetry may be no longer than two pages single spaced. We cannot consider submissions that do not follow these guidelines.
