Owen Ellison Kahn, Adjunct Professor, is a practicing attorney with Weiss & Kahn, P.A., in Coral Gables, Florida, and a former consultant to the United Nations Development Programme. Dr. Kahn earned his M.A. at Oxford University in England; and his Ph.D. at the University of California at Berkeley. He teaches International Law, and will add International Human Rights in Fall 2007. He has taught International Relations at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa; the University of California at Berkeley and Santa Cruz; and the University of Miami. His publications include articles in Matthew Bender’s treatise, Immigration Law and Procedure, Journal of Interamerican Studies and World Affairs, and various edited volumes, including his own Disengagement from Southwest Africa: Prospects for Peace in Angola and Namibia (Rutgers University, Transaction Publishers, 1990).
