Moshe Syrquin, Ph.D.

Professor Syrquin obtained his Ph.D. in Economics at Harvard University in 1971. He taught economics at Bar-Ilan University in Israel between 1971 and 1993, where he also served as Chair of the Department of Economics and Business Administration and Director of the Research Center for Latin American Development Studies. His research and teaching interests focus on the processes of growth and transformation, the theory of production, and law and economics. Since 1994, he has served as the editor of the World Bank Economic Review and the World Bank Research Observer.
