Parking Directions

Attendees please follow the signs for visitor parking inside the Blue garage-- the visitor parking is on the first floor as you enter the garage-- and then look for the attendant and the free spaces reserved for the symposium in the Blue Garage. If the free spaces are not available, then attendees should proceed to park in either the Blue or Gold garages at metered parking.  The Blue and the Gold garages are next to one another and directly across from the Frost Art Museum.

Registrants, please enter the Coral Gables campus at the traffic light on Ponce de Leon Blvd. and Stanford Drive.  Proceed to the Stanford Information Booth and let the attendant know that you will be attending the Center for the Humanities symposium (as a registrant your name will be on their list) and you would like the code for the Osceola Parking Lot.  The attendant will give you a code that you can enter on the keypad at the entrance bar to the lot.  Proceed on Stanford Drive to Merrick Drive which intersects on the left across from the Lowe Art Museum.  Turn left on Merrick and proceed about one block through the curve until you see the Osceola Lot entrance on the left.  It is not necessary to feed the meter in the lot.

‌Out of town attendees may receive the UM Center for the Humanities rate at the Mutiny Hotel in Coconut Grove for symposium dates. This rate may only be obtained through reservations placed on the phone. Please mention the UM Center for the Humanities to the reservations manager.
