Background

Dr. Hai Fang earned his Ph.D. in Economics and his M.P.H at the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 2006. His primary area of research is health economics, with interests in physician behaviors, health insurance, managed care, health care disparities, and health outcomes research. Dr. Fang is currently studying the effects of patient consumerism on health care quality from the physician’s viewpoint, and health care disparities among Latinos. Dr. Fang’s recent publications include articles in the Journal of Mental Health Policy and Economics and Archives of Internal Medicine.
