Lab Facilities & Resources
- ArcGIS 9.3 license renewed. The department's GIS Lab Manager, Chris Hanson, provides university-wide support to ESRI product users on campus<.
- The 42-inch printer is up and running. This large-format printer will enable students and faculty to print out large maps and posters for conferences and other presentations.
- We have fourteen WAAS-capable Garmin GPS receivers to support faculty and student field research in South Florida and beyond.
- ERDAS Imagine 9.3 is running on the lab machines. This newest version of ERDAS IMAGINE, supports image processing, vector editing, and advanced geographic visualization.
- Idrisi Andes version. The lab has a license of the Idrisi software, which supports image analysis, raster-based GIS, and advanced decision support using GIS. For more information see www.clarklabs.org.
- Cartalinx is available. This vector-development tool enables on-screen digitizing, building of polygon topology, and real-time mapping with GPS.
- SPSS 17.0 is available for statistical work.
- The Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 suite and Acrobat Pro 9.0 are also available.
- The new Ricoh color printer also serves copier and document scanner needs.
