Contest Guidelines:

Each fiction entry requires the reading fee of $20.00. Please make check payable to University of Miami, Department of English, Mangrove. Each fee entitles entrant to a two-year subscription of Mangrove.

• Cover letter must include name, address, phone number, and title(s).
• Entrant's name should appear ONLY in the cover letter.
• Fifteen double-spaced pages maximum.
• No previously published works, or works forthcoming elsewhere.
• Simultaneous submissions acceptable, but fee is non-refundable.
• Entries must be accompanied by SASE for notification.
• Manuscripts will not be returned.
• Make checks payable to the University of Miami, Department of English, Mangrove.
• All entries must be postmarked by December 31^st, 2005. No late entries will be accepted.
• Include a SASE to receive notification of contest results.

Winning entry will be published in Mangrove and Mangroveonline.org. All entries will be considered for publication and will receive a copy of the prize Issue 2006, No. 15.

Note: Current and former students, faculty, and staff of the University of Miami may not enter contest.
