Materials

The materials for each DILS language will be selected by the DILS Direct or in consultation with the outside examiner and other experts. Materials will usually include text and audio, and video and software when available. Every effort will be made to find the most appropriate study materials.

Students will purchase their own copies of the textbook and any workbook or student manual. Usually audio materials are sold with the text and the workbook. Should that not be the case, audio materials can be made available with the help of the Modern Languages Language Lab if copyright restrictions permit and if requested in advance. If appropriate video materials and/or software exist that do not come as part of the total package of the study materials, every effort will be made to make these available to students.

Interested students should contact the DILS Director at DILS@miami.edu
