Getting into College Part of the "You Can Go to College Series" 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM Vision to Victory, 13230 NW 7th Ave., Miami, FL 33168 Commissioner Jean Monestime (Miami-Dade County, District 2) and the University of Miami School of Education and Human Development, in association with the Center for Latin American Studies, present the "You Can Go to College Series." High School students and parents of students will learn in three sessions the keys to college access and success. The three sessions are spread across the 2012-13 school year and are as follows: Session 1 - Getting to College Saturday, September 29th, 2012 Session 2 - Paying for College Saturday, January 19th, 2013 Session 3 - Succeeding in College Saturday, April 20th, 2013 In the first session, Getting to College, students will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with admission officers from various universities and connect with college students for mentoring. Parents are also more than welcome to come and learn about options. Come prepared to eat, have fun, and to learn! Food will be provided and raffle prizes awarded!
