Don't wait until the last minute to make your advising appointment.

If your last name starts with the letter

• A-H your advisor is Ms. Shirelle Jackson
• I-N your advisor is Dr. Dana Krempels
• O-S your advisor is Dr. Daniel DiResta
• T-Z your advisor is Dr. Yunqiu Wang

HOW DO I REGISTER MYSELF ON MyUM?

If you have completed 45 credits at the University of Miami (this does not include transfer credits) and are in good academic standing, you may register on MyUM without a PIN (access code).

You will receive an assigned registration date and time via email and/or on MyUM, and may register at that time or any time thereafter.

Don't miss your appointment! Courses fill up quickly!

If you do not have at least 45 UM credits, or if you are not in good academic standing, you must see an academic advisor before you register, and obtain a completed Course Request Form signed by the advisor. The signed form must be presented to Ms. Verdelle Bell (Ashe 200), who will give you a PIN/access code.

MAKE AN ADVISING APPOINTMENT:

Be sure to bring to your appointment your A.C.E. (Academic Curriculum Evaluation) form, available on MyUM.

Even if you plan to register on MyUM without a PIN, we still encourage all biology majors to meet with an advisor. We will make sure you're on the right track for graduation. Last minute, pre-graduation surprises are seldom good ones.
