GALLERIES

ON CAMPUS

CAS Gallery
The CAS Gallery was opened in 2002 in the Wesley Foundation Building. With 2200-square-feet of floor space, 164 feet of running wall, and 16-foot ceilings, the gallery has ample room to host a variety of events and exhibitions.

The venue is named CAS Gallery, because it is also used as a conference center for the College of Arts and Sciences. The CAS Gallery is located at 1210 Stanford Drive, Coral Gables, FL.

All events at the CAS Gallery must be sponsored by a department within the College of Arts and Sciences. To reserve a date at the CAS Gallery, contact Dean Mallery at cmallery@miami.edu.

For visiting hours, please contact the Department of Art and Art History at
305-284-2542. Typically, during the academic year, when student employees are on campus (not during holidays), the CAS Gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday, 12-4 p.m., and Thursdays until 7 p.m. For your convenience, please call the Art Department to confirm that the gallery is open for viewing and not reserved for an event, prior to visiting.

The Lowe Art Museum
Some of the Department of Art & Art History Exhibitions are held at the Lowe Art Museum, located On Campus at 1301 Stanford Drive, Coral Gables, Florida

The Exhibitions Committee reviews proposals for exhibitions in May of each year. To submit a proposal, contact the Department of Art and Art History by telephone at 305-284-2542 or email the gallery Director Logan Beitman at logan@miami.edu to ask for submission requirements.
