Mission Statement

The mission of the Reserve Officer's Training Corps is to mold young Americans into leaders as commissioned officers. ROTC provides you with excellent leadership training and the foundation needed for future military or civilian success.


Leadership & Management Training and Experience


Scholarship Programs

Full tuition and fees or up to $10,000 in Room & Board for each school year
$1200 for books annually

Currently University of Miami undergraduates enrolled in the Army ROTC program are assured annual combined University grant and/or scholarship resources amounting to one quarter* of the University's tuition for up to four years. Students must maintain continuous enrollment in the Army ROTC program and full time enrollment in one of the University's undergraduate degree programs. No application required. Awards are made automatically based on information provided by the University's Army ROTC detachment.

*Assured amount is lower if the total of all scholarships, grants and /or stipends received by the student would exceed the student's cost of attendance for the academic year, as determined by the University Of Miami Office Of Financial Assistance Services.



Monthly Living Expenses

Receive a non-taxable $300-$500 monthly stipend, depending on year in program
