The American Studies program is pleased to announce the launch of the Michael Carlebach Prize in American Studies, awarded to the best piece of work produced by an undergraduate student enrolled in an AMS class during the academic year 2014-15. The winner will receive $500. For consideration, send entries to the Director by May 1, 2015. The prize is named for Michael Carlebach, former director and driving force behind the development of the American Studies program and retired professor of photography at UM.
