Finding Your Advisor
If you are unable to locate your advisor, please contact Student Academic Services at
(305) 284-4333, or the Center for Freshman Advising at (305) 284-3437 if you are a first-year student.
First-Year Student
- Advising Appointments are scheduled for March 29 – April 19. Do not wait until the last minute to schedule an appointment with your academic advisor.
- Registration Appointments will be available on myUM on Monday, March 29.
THIS IS NOT YOUR ADVISING APPOINTMENT
Registration is scheduled to begin on Monday, April 12.
Online Registration
- If you have 45 or more earned UM credits, you may register yourself online through myUM at or after your Registration Appointment time without a registration PIN.
- If you have fewer than 45 earned UM credits, you need to schedule an appointment to meet with your advisor and obtain a signed Course Request Form. Once you have done this, take your signed Course Request Form to Ashe 112 or Ashe 200 to obtain your registration PIN. You may register yourself online through myUM with your registration PIN, at or after your assigned Registration Appointment time.
We encourage all of our students to meet with an academic advisor to ensure they are on the right track.
