Dr. Barbara Butterfield: Half-day workshop on Negotiation, MORNING session
NOTE: open to junior faculty only
This workshop is designed to build understanding of mutual interest-based negotiation or solution finding. Participants will evaluate their personal problem solving styles. Case practice will include a competitive job offer, committee service, salary increase, and assuring research resources. Attendeeswill practice their own cases and receive coaching feedback. Several methods of responding to difficult tactics are demonstrated and discussed.
This workshop is made possible through a SEEDS Working Within Fund managed by Steering Committee Member, Dr. Barbara Whitlock, Associate Professor of Biology in the College of Arts & Sciences.
